King’s Church is passionate about worshipping Jesus Christ, and demonstrating his love to the surrounding area. The vision of the eldership is to foster a community of people who love Jesus and enjoy the life he has given them, and who are passionate about impacting their local community. They strongly believe that church should be a place where you can be yourself, worshipping God amongst a close family of believers.
Lead elder Andy Delves recently expressed his passion to cultivate a church which values:
Freedom and encouragement in the gifts of the Spirit
Apostolic leadership
The priesthood of all believers
The expression of the particular and individual gifting God has blessed people with, to bring glory to God.
Grace, not legalism
Love of Christ, not denominational formula or rules.
Openness to the wind of the spirit, consciously seeking the direction of God.
Becoming a community of Christ followers, demonstrating our relationship with, and love of, Jesus in the local community.
Using forms of worship which people can connect with, that come from everyday life yet bring us closer to Jesus.
People growing and become more Christlike, with a passionate belief in the Bible.
